-TALK THE TALK-

.+'FIRST GROUP'+.

I am a member of the first group but i was not able to hear the speeches due to my suspension. Our speakers were Ms. Patricia Mamangun, a broadcast journalist and Mr. Borj Meneses, a photographer. According to those who were present Ms. Mamangun talked about her journey and experiences as a reporter of CLTV 36. Mr. Borj Meneses on the other hand told his story as an acclaimed photographer who expresses his passion for art through his shots.

.+'SECOND GROUP'+.

Mr. Raphael Tuazon, A young man who is a street sweeper in Angeles City Hall. This man has a very complicated life due to his experiences. By age 18 he is already a family man. Unfortunately, it did not work out and he is now separated from his wife. His situation and life and the place where he works is kind of a cliche for me. The city hall should given this person an opportunity to continue his studies. They should include him in programs for him to finish his studies and reach his goals in life.

The second speaker is Ms. Vianca Catangcal, a dentist. She shared tips on oral hygiene. Her talk was very informative and educational.

.+'THIRD GROUP'+.

Ms. Remedios Angeles works in the university as a janitor. She has been working in AUF for 20 years. She is an undergraduate who advises us to listen to our parents always. She loves her family very much and she is very dedicated to her work. Everything she does is for her family.

Dj TYRA is a dj for RW fm. She knows her work well and she tells us to prepare if we want to be part of the media field. She is very happy with her work even though she is required to multitask due to the lack of staff at the station. She is also a very articulate speaker.

.+'FOURTH GROUP'+.

Fred Bauldin is a tourist here in the Philippines and family friend of fellow classmate Garrick Jordan. He works at a naval hospital in Guam. His work there is inclined with interviewing applicants for the hospital. He checks the applicants papers and other requirements. According to him, Filipinos are very hospitable and he has enjoyed working with them.

Arnel Berato, an AUF law student originally from Mindanao. He grew up in Mindanao but now he has his junk shop business here in Pampanga. He divides his time with his work, family and studies. He believes in setting parameters in life and making sure we reach the goals we have planned for ourselves. I noticed that he was a bit intimidated or rather a bit shy during his talk.

.+'FIFTH GROUP'+.

The fifth group presented three speakers due to a miscommunication in the group. First was Mr. Brian Osayan, a janitor at AUF. I know him because he usually helps us with concerns in the auditorium. He is very friendly and he isn't grumpy. You will always see a smile on his face even when he is just sweeping the floor. I never knew that Kuya Brian's life was like a telenovela. His father abandoned him at a very young age. He was left with his mother who later on married an American. His step father was a good provider but Kuya Brian started to be rebellious when he reached high school. His parents tried to help him but at that time he was out of control. He ended up working as a janitor for the school. He is happy with his life now, but he knows that he could have had a better life.

Mr. Paul Gilgen is a regular costumer at the Clarkton Hotel. He was brought to class by Ate Mj who knows Paul through work. He is a businessman who has achieved a lot in life. He is now working online. During his speech he gave us some quotations like aim high, stay humble, make everyday count, you attract more bees with honey, people are more cooperative with more of please and thank yous, build your interests and hobbies, always keep your sense of humour.

The last speaker is Ms. Charity Brenda Monette. By just looking at her you would notice that she has a very strong and intimidating personality. Ms. Monette is a TOS awardee and was also given the award of performing artist of the year. She is currently working as a teacher at the Shikayna Christian Academy. For her teachers deal with life, with students. She also has a theory about double-minded people. According to her only a very focused person is capable of being successful. Without focus or by being double-minded a person becomes unfocused and is then incapable of success.
