Last But Not the Least

Finally, the first set of colloquiums was done and we, the final group, invited our speakers to end up the initial set of colloquiums.

The first speaker was Bryan Osayen, a janitor in Angels University’s St. Cecilia’s Auditorium. He told the story of his life in his talk. From his childhood till the time he was hired in AUF was relayed to our class in a very detailed manner. I guess his talk is all about fixing what was broken and it’s never too late too change the bad habits and change it into good.

The next speaker is a foreigner named Paul, he mainly talked about goals and how to achieve them and be successful.

The last speaker was Charity Monette, a teacher in profession, and a dancer by heart. She mainly taught of two things: her teaching experience and why did she chose to teach. She relayed to our class her worst experience as an instructress, it is when someone called her “negra”. That moment I felt pity to that student of hers because despite of the racial discrimination that some Filipinos are experiencing, still, there is this Filipino who is doing such an act. Then she told us why she chooses to teach, the primary reason is to for her to breed new set of future for our nation.
