GROUP 1

The first speaker was Patricia Mamangun a reporter who shared with us her experiences, the perks of being a reporter and also the disadvantages. 

I have always wanted to be good at taking photos, Mr. Borj Meneses was our second speaker, he was an artist turned band member turned photographer. I really loved his works. How he edits them and how he brings out the beauty of his models.

GROUP 2

Our group chose a dentist and a street sweeper as our speakers. We wanted our classmates to learn about oral health, and the sacrifices that a street sweeper made just for his son, I was deeply moved by his story. He made it clear to us to make our decisions wisely and not to rush love.

GROUP 3

The first speaker was Ms. Rebecca angeles, she is the 2^nd floor janitress. I have seen her sweeping floors, picking up trash but when she stood in front of us and shared her life I felt her presence and I also felt grateful to her. I realized that if people had a choice they wouldn’t be sweeping floors or scrubbing bowls. I admire her for her humility and kindness. I realized how blessed I was for having a good life.

The second speaker was a DJ. She shared her struggles and how people criticisized her at first, what stayed with me is when she said that, we should not let crititsms get to us instead we must use them as a challenge to  do better.
