The colloquium offers great opportunity of learning. I gained lots of information from the prominent speakers. I learned some helpful tips and advices from the ordinary speakers. Knowing their experiences is beyond compare. Those magic words from them, made me realize of so many things. That life is not always a bed of roses. We have to exert a lot of effort to achieve our dreams. Most importantly being in the field of media is not just a fabulous work. We will encounter a lot of twists. The challenge is not just to accept it as it comes but to learn from it! And do something about it.

Of all the speakers I was fascinated by Mr. Paul. He is a Canadian who decided to live here in the Philippines. He discussed the guidelines on “how to have a good life”. He really talked with sense. I even jot down the things that he explained. Here are the key points that I’ve learn from him:

• Set the bar high! We have to aim high
• Do the things that you love to do
• Stay humble
• Set your goals!
• Have a to do list! Make everyday count.
• Attracts more bees with honey
• Use the tough approach as the last resource. Always use the social approach.
• Lifetime commitment to fitness
• Let life amaze you everyday
• Try to do something for your self
• Keep your sense of humor ^^

I hope to have this kind of learning experience
