Sounds confusing? Well I can’t blame you, even I at first was confuse about my article’s title. I guess if you still have he time to read, you’ll figure out somehow what I’m trying to say.
My article is all about the first topic of the first speaker of the first colloquium. I’m talking about the mass communication lady who works as a reporter. According to my analogies, the point of her talk is all about loving what you’re doing, and my relation to that matter? Here’s my drama…
Actually I am not supposed to be a mass communication student, I am a pre-destined student of nursing. Because of its demand at the time when I was about to take college, I thought that taking up nursing will guarantee my future. But when I was about to pay for my reservation fee as a nursing student, it seemed that I saw my future coming, me as a nurse forever? Please! First, I am afraid of flesh and blood, 2ndly I hate the smell of hospital and lastly, I don’t want my abilities and creativities to stagnate.
And the rest as they say was history. At that very day, I transferred as a mass communication student. Although my mom didn’t understand me at first, she eventually coped up on what I really like.
As a quotation says, “do what you love and love what you do”: what I want after few years from now is that when I wake up, I am always excited for my work. I want to work for passion and not for compensation, that is why I am who I become by being a Mass Communication student.
