All of us, wanted to have the best skills in our chosen field, but in the real world, having a right attitude is more important than the skills. This is proven by both of our speakers for this week.
Remedios Angeles or Manang Rem, is one of the Housekeeping Personnel in Angeles University Foundation, and she is the first speaker for this week. She shared with us her experiences before working as a janitress. She’s doing well in her work for 20 years now, inspite of not having the right education, still she is proud because she’s working in the university. Having the right attitude towards the administration and to the people surrounding her, helped her to stay in the university for 20 years.
As for our second speaker, DJ Tyra of RW 95, “Skills are important, but having the right attitude is also important in having a successful career, you must be able to deal well with the people around you.”
It’s not always about the brain but also with the heart.
